How are these used?
1 per squad or multiple boxes for larger units?
And there must be a HUGE cook kit for all that stuff!

I've seen this video many times and it is very well done and informative as is all of flankertanker's stuff. One thing kind of puzzles me however; I could not figure out why the ration designers had included corn instead of mixed veggies or green beans. It just seemed that from a nutrition point of view there were plenty of carbs and starches in the ration already but I'm sure the people who design the rations know what they're doing----the dining hall at a UK base would make up for whatever the ration lacked I would think. Just a curious observation.

Maybe it's a local tastes thing overriding nutrition concerns and corn is just traditionally a side with the other items?
