I'm really surprised someone did one of these on camera! Couldn't be happier.
The best possible MRE: 1lb bag of Jalapeño cheese spread.

Very good review, and yes when those MCI components start to turn, they want everyone to know it! :shock: Actually, and this could just be my less than perfect memory as I did turn 49 last month, I recall the crackers tasting like---well---crackers, no sweet taste to them as I recall. The chocolate and toffee disc on the other hand, I loved it, and that and the poundcake were like currency in my first national guard unit. But I have talked with other veterans who served before I did and they said that nothing tasted better than a chocolate toffee disc that was still "useable" but once they turned, nothing tasted worse!

IIRC, the crackers had a distinct 'soda' taste to them.
Really good with the tiny tin of jam !

Ahh, the (not so) good old days... :lol:
