Pemmican a la 1969, anyone?

The first few minutes of this survival show from the UK, they decide to chow down on 40 year old canned Pemmican, looks quite fresh though!! :mrgreen:

Nice choice of vid! I like old Ray and his output. Much more real than Grylls.

I keep freezing the pic to see what the can says. The first line is FOOD PACKET..cant see anymore.

Its probably buried somewhere either in the 60 or 70 Natick cat.

Thanks for sharing, I didn't know Ray Mears at all, we only have Bear Grylls show here on the local TV.
I love those bamboo sticks with rice, taro, etc. inside! Unfortunately they are rather hard to find where I live now, much harder than in Paris ...or in Asia :wink:
The oldest pemmican block like this I ate was from the 80's but it was during the 80's anyway :lol:
I guess the French Army version was a copy of the US one.

its a part of the survival cans that goes in the us airforce jets back in the 1969s
there was also a big can with coffe and other survival items.
