Re: Underworld MRE Black Market
It would be interesting just where they are getting the mre's
Re: Underworld MRE Black Market
simple: the US troops must distribute them to the Afghan Army or some civilians for humanitary reasons and they sell them instead of eating them.Macaroni wrote:It would be interesting just where they are getting the mre's
Too bad they don't say if that shop ships abroad, I'd like tu buy a full crate for only 6 bucks + postage

That's like offering potatoe chips to a people whose staple diet is fruit and vegetables since the beginning of time.
They don't want it -- it gets rejected. Always have.
Remember back in the day some company; could have been in the USA [probaly was] tried
to sell potatoe chip (cellophane wrapped food) to an Arab Army. Guess what happened.
But MRE's have a veritable use.

Hi,
I remember my grandparents couldn't eat the baked beans the GI's gave them at the end of the War. They found those beans too sweet, ate one can and bartered the other ones for potatoes and bread with the neighbors.
Now the taste have changed here and almost everybody in France like the US food but the cultural rift between Westerners and Afghans must be much wider.
