Unboxing of a 2019 Cr1m Case
Re: Unboxing of a 2019 Cr1m Case
'Back in my day' - the 1970s-80s, and Vietnam War era rat packs - the similar ration packs, built around cans and not pouches, came 5 to a sealed tin.
The tins were useful for water containers, for heating water, etc. You could even use them as a tommy cooker, improvised stove, or latrine.
Can't find a pic to share, but the rations were like these;

This article has a quote “nobody wants to buy rations from the 1950’s or 1960’s” 5 years later and I can think of over 50 people at least
