By the way, I don't claim this is the absolute best way to use an FRH, just a better way than the instructions say. It works for me, and I hope it does for others as well.

Oh indeed. I maintain that this is the way people who are new or are having issues should start. Once there, they can develop their own preferences.

Your way provides a killer method to start people down the path of eating warm MREs. That and the presentation is excellent!
