Oh my, what a lovely bit of fun this was. Super bummed I didn't get a chance to try this out as it's totally my kind of meal.

Well heck, that was unique. Super fun to have checked out, and I got lucky with one of the packs in there. Nearly everything else was disgusting.

Its amazing at the lack of packaging they did with those back then, such an awful design lol.

you're so lucky to be able to even have those kinds of rations.
I've always wanted to try one of those tin can rations, I seen Steve review 6-8 of them, from Vietnam era or Korea era. Some just pilot rations.

Canadian Trucker has been a very big supporter of ration review channels, so I was thrilled to check out this rare little treat. I like what he did here, specifically, hooking you up with toilet paper for the morning, and the two packs of coffee to assist, haha.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! I hate this main.

I tried an AllMRE Z-Ration (Zombie MRE). It's alright, though the main was not as flavourful as I would have figured for a New Orleans dish. Still was quite tasty. The components were all 2017 and newer which was a nice surprise. I had heard that it wasn't uncommon to end up with older items in these. Then there was the fact that there was only a drink, and no coffee.

A little remembrance day video. I opened a can of modern bully beef, and read a passage from the book that started my interest in WWII History. Also went ahead and checked to see if Bully Beef is Bullet Proof

In America, this is common Canned Corn Beef. Sold in most grocery stores and something I have grown up with for 50 years. The better quality canned corned beef comes from other places like Britain, Brazil, etc which is not a ground texture but larger whole pieces. All I ever much did with canned corn beef is make cold sandwiches though it's better heated, and I really enjoy heated foreign large lump style. You can also cut it up and cook it with potatoes making corned beef hash which used to come in one of the US's vintage MRE menu's and was and is still coveted. Corned beef hash is common as a breakfast, fried until crispy and served with a fried egg on top. I would be happy to get it in any ration. Nice video.

Oh indeed, same up here. It's a staple of the ww2 reenacting community for sure. Hereford is a Brazil product, but the main one you're like to find back in WW2 was Fray Bentos from Uruguay.

Yeah man, I love me some corned beef hash, and I really look forward to cracking into the ol' brown bagger that Shawker71 sent over.
