After I recoverd from a gastric flu today, I opend a 1988 German Bundeswehr EPa entree "peas stew with carrots and bacon"

19 years old
After warming up:

Very delicious, spicy, delicate, yummy even after 19 years, edible without any losses, even not in color...

Nice pics - thanks for sharing.
And I do have to say that I think it's funny as hell that as soon as you get over stomach flu, you go and open an almost 20-year old EPa entree. You're one brave man...

Seltsam
Was the package damaged?! Maybe just a little, tiny hole?!
A just 16 years old EPa was spoilt...

I need a few stiff shots of vodka before looking at the picture of that EPA.
To eat it, 19 years old?....That's a medal right there.
Add in you'd just shook off gastric flu?...Congressional Medal Of Honour!

What is the problem with an 19 year fresh EPA ?
My wife and me tried in 2005 an 1974 EPA noodles in tomatosauce. Very delicious, only a liitle bit tinny.
Of course you have to take a look at what you eat and smell and taste it...but if everything is ok, why not to eat it ?
