United Nations Combat Ration, Western, Menu C - Opening

Just got this amazing ration from BlackDogBob a few days ago! Canada Customs decided to rip into the box and check things out. The pouch was torn so I decided it was best to open the whole thing and make sure nothing was spoiled or leaking.
There is a horrible smell permeating the entire bag and all the components. Since the smell is kinda fishy and rancid I am guessing it's just the fuel tablets. The whole fuel/stove kit has been removed and all the components and bags have been wiped down. Hopefully that will help the whole thing not smell like I found it at the local dumpsite.
Menu C has Baked Beans, Chili Con Carne and Chickpea and Mutton Stew as the main entrees. Certainly sounds good. Most of the best-before dates on the components are in mid-2017 and later, so everything SHOULD still be good to go.
Other images below are the crackers and cake, the contents of the snacks and sides pouch, the contents of the condiments pouch and lastly the contents of the drinks/soup pouch. Certainly a great variety of food.
Still busy with Christmas holidays right now, but I'll certainly do a proper review when the time permits, which is hopefully very soon. I can't wait to dig in!
