Ration was assembled in September 19th 2016, best before date is June 2nd 2018.
Bag isn't making crackling noise like the other Ukrainian ration, and it's much thicker and softer plastic. Inside of it it's 3 individual smaller bags with markings Snjidanjok, Obid, Včerja (using Cro phonetic). Inner bags are the same material as the main bag.
Breakfast
- liver pate (it had some white residue on it so I didn't eat it, but after looking some russian/ukrainian reviews they had the same looking pate's and they did eat it)
- rice porridge with beef (this was great heated, but you can eat it cold and it's also good like that, smelled like a beef pate)
- crackers x2 (they are called pohid that means hiking, I thought that's cool... very much like hard crackers with no much taste...I guess they are here in big numbers because people in East like to eat lots of bread and to help out with lots of fat in this ration)
- sugar x 4 (well it's sugar)
- coffee (very light to my taste I needed to use much less water for it but it still had nice coffe taste and smell... it would be great when adding very little amount of water)
- wet napkin (very wet napkin I could clean my hand and fingers without any problem and it smelled awesome)
- plastic spoon (classic supermarket spoons)
- napkin (maybe too small but that's individual)
Lunch
- corned beef (beef and fat, much better eaten cold)
- crackers x2
- sugar x4
- ceylon black tea
- wet napkin
- plastic spoon
- napkin
Dinner
- barley porridge with beef (I've eat it cold... very similar with breakfast dish, maybe more harder texture)
- crackers x2
- sugar x4
- ceylon black tea
- honey x2 (excellent natural honey)
- wet napkin
- plastic spoon
- napkin

Re: Ukrainian 24H ration (2016 plastic handle version)
Great review Asger. I had this same ration last night for dinner
I had the lunch and dinner cans with some biscuits. I heated up my corned beef but wish I had left it cold. The barley porridge was great, I heated this up and it was perfect. Good flavour and used my biscuits as spoons. Still haven't tried the breakfast cans yet but hopefully finish those up today.
Thanks for the review.

Awesome, I'm happy you liked it. Only thing missing in the ration is some pickles and horilka. Thankfully I had both so I had real slavic meal, this food just needs some kind of salad and pickles are bullseye.ToxicCarbon wrote:Great review Asger. I had this same ration last night for dinner![]()

For breakfast it should be buckwheat porridge with beef or rice porridge with beef but if you liked the barley porridge you will like this also. It's just maybe more softer texture.
