Got an ORP #5 from Gundog, thank you sir. This is my first UK ration and was a definite treat.

Contents List
I was amazed at the fact it had 9 drinks. The most I have ever seen in one ration.

On to the meals:

Beans, Bacon and Potatoes~ this was quite good and hearty. The potatoes beans were perfect and nice chunks of bacon.

Curry Pork Nepalese~ my pick in this ration. The spice was excellent and had a good amount of meat. The rice was not mushy.

Tomato Soup~ I didn't get a pic of this, it went too fast. Very savory and when I added the packet of white rice it made for a nice meal.

Plain Rice~ what's to say, it's plain white rice. I added it to the soup to thicken it.

Biscuits and Squidge~ the Golden Oatie were bland but went well with the Squidge. The Dark Chocolate Biscuits were okay and my daughter liked them best. Huge fan of Nutella so the Squidge hit the spot.

Cookies and Cream cereal bar~ wasn't my taste but not a bad taste either and the kids enjoyed it.

Fruit Pureè~ okay, this is straight up baby food. Nuff said there.

Orange Hot Chocolate~ this was quite good and would be great on a cold morning.

Tea/Coffee~ English Breakfast tea was good and I tried it with cream and sugar which I have never done. I tried one of the coffees and it was your basic instant.

Peanuts~ tastes like peanuts so no comments other than it being odd they were canned which is not awfully tactical have a baby rattle bouncing around in your pack.

Blueberry Turnover~ this was a Bridgford deal and was quite nice with more blueberry than expected. Quite enjoyable.

I didn't try any of the other drinks so I don't know about them yet. Have broken into the hard candy either. The spoon in this ration was the biggest I have seen yet and I believe could be used as a ladle. Nice amount of tissues in this.

Overall I really enjoyed this meal and will be looking to get my hands on more of them. I hope you enjoyed my review.

Great review! I have a Menu #11 ORP that I got in a trade with SCOTSMAN 1984 from YouTube. Haven't had a chance to crack into it yet but everything looks damn good.

Nice review, we don't have many post about uk rations around here. I always wanted one but many of the menus don't seem to tickle my fancy.

I got this in a trade without questioning which menu. Gundog did send a pic of the box so I was able to look up the contents before I got it. I was very impressed with it and would love it the US would do a 24hr in this fashion instead of the FSR. I would roll the dice and pick one up considering there are 3 mains and at least one should appeal to you. I haven't ordered any RCIR's just because all the menus look nasty.
