It was yesterday the last day at work for 2015, so I ate another special, a French entree:

Usually French entrees are great and very delicious.
That one was "OK". What do you expect from a canned Tortellini dish? I bet some "slushy" and soaked noodles. That what is was.
It had a dominating flavor/taste of basil or any other herb. No hint of beef filling taste. Just "a filling" to me.
It wasn´t bad, it was "OK", a canned noodles dish.

With a dash of salt, I would prefer a MRE tortellini entree over this.

wow..thats saying a lot, because to me the Tortellini MRE is one of the more bland entrees in my opinion. Usually when the french entrees are listed, they are getting rave reviews. I'll have to keep this in mind.

Great review. :)

housil: Nice review, informative. I've got a RCIR Menu 11 waiting to be reviewed.

Great review and pictures, Housil! Too bad the beef w/ tortellini didn't turn out better than it was. Good to know for i will maybe pick a different entree than this one if given the choice in variety.

Great review and pics Housil! Given the reputation of the RCIR entrees for being pretty good, it's too bad this one didn't measure up to the others.
