24 Hour rations always take me a while to get through so I ate this ration over five different sittings. Some pictures didn't turn out unfortunately, so please forgive the spots that seem a bit bare.

Part 1:
- Main entree, Pasta Bolognese
- One packet, Whole Rye Bread (Vollkornbrot), Two slices shelf stable bread
- Spread, Farmhouse Pate

The Pasta Bolognese was a bit heavier on the olives than I had anticipated so it was strange at first, but soon enough I found myself really enjoying it.

Part 2:
- Mackerel in Tomato Sauce
- One packet, Whole Rye Bread (Vollkornbrot)
- Spread, Chicken Pate
- Raw Bite, Organic Fruit and Nut bar: Spicy Lime flavor.
- Rødgrød

The Raw Bite bar was hands down the best snack bar I've ever had. Better than any granola bar, chocolate bar, protein bar, anything. This not only tasted amazing, it was the best list of ingredients I've ever seen:

Dates, Lime Juice, Cashews, Almonds, Ginger, Chili, Citrus Oil

THAT'S IT. Mine says it's best by March 22nd (just made it - at the time It was March 20th) so I'm assuming they aren't meant to last indefinitely.

The Rye bread with pate was a mix. I'm not a gigantic fan of this particular bread, but it is pretty decent for shelf stable. The Chicken Liver Pate was incredibly light and flavorful.

The silver packet of Rødgrød (Red Groats) is a sweet desert that can be any of a number of fruits cooked with sugar. I realized too late that I should have had it with the breakfast porridge. I had it with the mixed nuts and they went well together.

The last item was the Mackerel in Tomato Sauce. This was great! Very simple flavors, a nice savory alternative to some of the sweeter items in the ration.

Part 3:
- Breakfast entree, Breakfast with Fruits
- Biscuits (Bisca Grovkiks)
- Apricot Jelly, Strawberry Jelly, Honey
- Freeze Dried Columbian Coffee, Sugar
- Mixed Nuts (almonds, cashews, hazlenuts, peanuts)

This portion looks a bit better than it turned out, but overall it was still very edible. The honey wasn't quite right, and it may just be a difference in local tastes. The oatmeal had a somewhat chemical taste to it.

The biscuits, coffee, and jellies were all excellent and very fresh tasting.

Part 4:
- Snack of rye bread and peanut butter

Awesome combo! Really starting to like the rye bread a ton, going to miss it after the last package. 1 more!

Part 5:
- Rye bread
- Spread, Brussels Pate
- Rabel proteinbar Orange

The last pate was very rich. The protein bar was lighter than I expected. A great last meal out of one of the best rations I've ever had.

These Danish/Norwegian freeze dried rations are the best European ones I ever had. The most favorite breakfast ones they have (to me) were oatmeal/raisins .

Ohh man, Ruleryak - this has to be one of the most professional photo sets of a Ration I've ever seen. Possibly THE best!
Not only that - this is a Ration high on my bucket list, and on top of it, I haven't eaten since like 3 pm and I'm starving.. now I think I'll have to dig into one of the Rations you just sent me. 8)

Truly an amazing review, and the Danish don't go cheap on anything there. Oh, and nice Melmac Tray! ;)

Hmm the pate - when will we meet again? Heheh. Mortier Pate is the best - and you have 3 of them there, and that Raw Bite.. wow! Spicy Lime! And those protein bars! The jam - I am just in awe over the variety and quality.

What a pleasure, and thankyou for sharing! :D
