Dutch "Lentis w/ Beef"

The Dutch rations never come with lunch nor dinner entrees, these entrees are usually separately distributed.
They have either the British style one in a bag or the French style in a can (that comes from the same manufacturer).
Lucky me I got a whole case of entrees "linzen met rundvlees" (lentils w/ beef).
The box was THIS sturdy, I had to cut the top open.
A single can out of the case. They are the same like the French ones, just with 400g instead 300g like the French. That´s 532kcal and A LOT´s of food. The material itself seems a little bit "softer" like the early one´s due to a thinner material.
The pulled open can, looked like any "canned lentils stew", no "special" smell
On a plate ready for the microwave...
Nice lentils and vegetables with still a great texture, also nice, little junks of beef.
In Germany, "lentils" should have a sour vinegar taste. These hadn´t. With some phantasie, they had a slightly sweet taste.
