One thing I really notice is the taste difference between European milk chocolate vs American milk chocolate. I don't eat much of it anymore but I much prefer the European milk chocolate in taste. It is hard for me to explain why though..

To me the biggeste difference is the European one is more "smoother", the sugar crystals are smaller.
I guess we "stir" it longer. The (french) term is "conche"

The best at all is Swiss Chocolate to me.

Good review Cavguy, great pics,

Was surprised to see Vegemite (food of the gods) in a UK rat pack, thought it was only us and the Kiwi's crazy enough to eat it. AFAIK I thought UK packs had Marmite not vegemite in them (similar product slightly different flavour) but you learn something new everyday

Yowie,

Thanks, I agree I found it also unusual to see the vegemite included in a UK ration but maybe it is popular there? Also if you noticed the Fruit / Berry combo grains are the same type included in the Aussie ration packs too.

Hi Bypah, there are numerous uses for the good old vegemite, but most common are on toast with butter (try a thin layer first), my brother swears it is a great hangover cure or just try it in a sandwich. :D good luck (20 odd million aussies can't be wrong  )
