@cavguy: This cake looks very nice and makes me to want it! But it has definately nothing to do with the army "pan Galetta" - wich I opened yesterday evening to make a taste test.
It tastes good, but nearly very neutral - not sweet, not spicy nor salty - its only a biscuit, as an base for some pate or something sweet, or as an additinionally filling side for the main entry.

Btw, I opened another Menue Type B1 for muslim staff.
The beef in its own sauce I tried to eat cold with the pan galetta was not to bad, but I didnt eat all, beacause I`m on diet in the moment for preparation of a bike marathon  - so my dog has had a very good supper today  !
The poultry pate was very delicious and the peaches in syrup where like peaches in syrup should be - nice coulour of all the stuff and nice fresh smell and taste (however canned food can taste and smell fresh!)
