Today is New Year´s Day, a nice opportunity to give a French RCIR instant soup a try
"Potage aux Légumes" (vegetable soup)
Stir in 250ml hot water

Making an instant soup in the fields is a little bit "laborious". You need to make hot water on a tommy/esbit cooker first. A soup also doesn´t makes you full like a real dish. It could be nice in winter to warm you up, but I would prefer a tea/coffee for this purpose.
That particular vegetable soup was very "thin", 250ml of water seems too much to me. It was also a little bit "saltless" but at least, it was "OK" to me.
