Post by housil » Fri Jul 30, 2010 1:04 pm

I got another case of UK ORP.

Some of the rations were in poor condition

I hope it´s just dirty and no mold

The chocolate is "now" in plain, white wrap. I guess, there is one missing...

Except for the color, no difference.
Great taste, nice dish Image

Looks like the ration was semi crushed some time in its storage.

Housil,

Is that all you got?! I picked up three UK 24 hour rations that were dated 2008 and they came with MORE food items than what you received. Did you get this off of Ebay.De?

You mean this:

Yep, that is all what was in the first box I opened.

What else should be with it?

Ja, I got it from ebay.de, but due to the poor looking and the one (maybe) missing chocolate, I didn´t left a feedback yet on purpose. Not sure to give him a "positiv" Image

In my ORP´s where one more packs of crackers (totally 4, 2 of each kind) one more paté and two bars of Yorkee chocolate
I try everything... also dairy shakes :-)

I am looking for all international rations... make me an offer if you sell some (EU sellers preferred)

My olders (before 2001) had that too (2 x chocolate, 4 crackers, 2 pate etc.)

But I guess due some "modifications" they reduced maybe the amount of items like "ration stripping" :?:

How´s the date code and the Menue (letters or numbers) on the box?
See this how a 2008 should looks like

code was from 03/2005 and somewhat/2008 but it is possible that this packs where repacked... i know that the brits check their rations and repack them after a couple of yaers... i know that the producktiondates of the internals had diffrent dates on it...

Housil,

I'm very curious. Mine rations were all marked with a current date (i.e. 01/09/08) and a julian date (8331) and a color sticker indicating what menu it was. I've seen this sticker on ebay.uk when someone is selling new rations. And mine all had the new hot temperate components. The chcolate bars were all from Canada. I'm thinking maybe you got a field stripped ration. :(
