We are taking a look at a Dutch, Kingdom of the Netherlands Armed Forces, 24 Hour Modular Combat Ration. Impressive would be an understatement in describing this European contemporary to the U.S. MRE or Meal Ready to Eat. I don't think I've encountered a ration meal yet with as many drink items as this one contained. As a whole it was well-thought-out and quite comprehensive, not to mention tasty to boot. This is one of the most difficult to obtain military rations I've had the pleasure of reviewing and I wouldn't have had the opportunity to do so without a very generous friend and viewer sending it my way.
