The Galician stew is one of the best MRE meals I've had so far, possibly the best... my only problem with the Spanish MREs is every single one I've had, the fuel tablet packets were burst open and the fuel powder was everywhere.

Happy you liked it! The squid is an aquired taste XD in spain people pretty much love it or hate it... I think too that the ration should have a bit more of confort in my opinion, adding flavour to the drink or adding cofee... But the soldiers seem pretty happy with the rations, as the food is like the one you would get at home from your mother, slow cooked stews, with chunks of meat, meatballs and dishes like that...
It was a pleasure and the other one I have had was too. I think in the future I will want more from you.

I noticed that too, they don't want to stay in the packets at all. They're also just not as good as a nice hot wood fire to get things done, but I think that's universal with these fuel tablets.
