Well I ddn't known this and it's very cool thing to learn. Huh if I had known it's orange leaf tea and one of the top quality I would enjoy it more

Excellent review! Thanks asger! I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with some of the menu options found in the IMPs. When I did my first (and currently only) IMP review they were pretty rare to find on YouTube. Nowadays they seem to be all over the place, and I'm frequently finding myself getting hungry thinking about some of the entrees. The Smoked Meat I had in mine (traditional Canadian dish) was DELICIOUS! Now I find out that they have Chicken Cordon Bleu and Shepherd's Pie (two of my absolute favorite dishes in the world). I'm really enjoying seeing all the video and photo reviews of these things!
And, my guess would be that they skipped the Mashed Potatoes in this one because there is already mashed potatoes found in the Shepherd's Pie. It seems like an unfortunate omission, but overall I suppose it makes this one more strictly "ready-to-eat" than most IMPs!

Great review and pics Asger! I'm really looking forward to digging into my first IMPs that I have when I go camping next, especially after this review and the reviews that Bob has done. I hear nothing but great things about the IMPs. Again, great review, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. Canadians really have interesting and very various menues, that's really cool when you can have food that's indeed different like smoked meat, fish, chicken, beef and even that famous hamburger. When you look at the list of main it kind of looks like gourman paradise I doubt someone could talk bad about IMP's after all this options they have. Only thing that is strange is this outer packaging it looks like homemade ration and I hope someone will test it in near future how well it can protect the food and can it repel rain with that inner metal lining.
But I find packaging strange but not as minus point like I do the missing FRH in Canadian rations. Even Chinese use FRH's and I don't know why Canadians don't include one as an option. It's awesome we have Bob here who helped me obtain this IMP, I call him a human ration magnet.
Thanks again guys I'm happy I got positive comments from so many old crew on this forum.

This was a very detailed & comprehensive look on a Canadian IMP, Asger!
First off, this looks like a really good one - and your layout of the contents were very cool & presentable.
Second, I can imagine for my personal tastes this would be a real winner out camping in the winter time down here in FL - just looks like a real "stick to your ribs" kinda meal. Not bad!!
Third, I am sure it was good for you too because you know there were no feathers on that food at any point!
Thanks for sharing, man - awesome work!
