This ration was given to me, and I was told it was from North Korea. Please let me know what you think?

Ive seen those on ebay, they are south korean, some have combat ration written on them and some dont :?: ive also seen very similar ones in more civilian packaging.

im unsure if its legit combat rations or one of those commercial ones made for tourists sorta thing perhaps they supply both?
I came, I saw, I ate some rations then fell asleep amongst the clover.

What is most likely is that the North Korean army eats those awful nutrient bars that the Chinese use for a lot of their military rations. Those that are made from compressed grain, grease and sugar. The only real evidence available is the picture of Kim Jong Un inspecting a factory that was popping out those space food looking nutrient bricks. Got a picture of one i ate in a Chinese ration here.

I so want to try one of those compressed bars! Anybody got one they’re willing to part with?

Ironically, I love Soylent =P

Agree this is a South Korean ration. Made in Kyonggi province, uses the usual nutrient label, references HACCP.
