My buddy and I taste test reviewed a United Nations Patrol Combat Ration Pack Ration from 2018. Like a US MRE, the UN meal has everything needed to keep a soldier going, or in this case a Peace Keeper. It's a bit larger than the American Meal Ready to Eat, providing nutrition for a 12-Hour period as opposed to 8 hours with the MRE. These come in various menu varieties including: Occidental (Western), Hindu, and Halal. This particular pack happens to be a Halal menu. The UN Patrol Combat Ration has a large 350g main entrée along with several snack items and a couple of drinks. Unfortunately this menu contained what is, in my opinion, the absolute worst military ration drink in the world.
