Explosion in a CR1M Menu E

Post by Yowie » Fri Aug 13, 2021 2:34 am

Hi everyone, its been a long time. I have been lurking (mostly getting jealous of Housils trips).
Now we are in lockdown again in Eastern Australia I thought I would dig through my rations and share some thoughts with you guys.
So the first one I found clearly had some sort of leak or explosion

My first thought was the Vegemite had exploded, but as we all know Vegemite will be around with the cockroaches after the bomb is dropped.

So very carefully I opened it and boom good Vegemite bad fruit can.

Hopefully I will survive this winter night to post what this tastes like 🥶🤔

After I cleaned up the mess, most of the other stuff looked good.
I tried the Jerky, but it just wasn't right. Weird taste, I binned it.

I'm stuck int bush over night(isolation of course 😉) and I brought the other stuff with me. Hopefully it's still edible 🤔

The weather is looking a little wild, so using my trusty multi-room and knocked up a rough shelter.

Here is what I brought:

Shivering in the wind, it's going to be a rough night

Hi Housil,
How are you mate?.
Did you rescue any components? Or did you throw if all out?
My cheese survived, did yours?

Or open them carefully, empty them and put them back in.
