Indonesian T2 P & FD-3
Re: Indonesian T2 P & FD-3
I agree, the strawberry is great! I was lucky enough to get a chocolate also; it's pretty good added to coffee like steve1989 suggested...
it is what it is....

Where would one get an Indonesian ration, or any ration from Southeast Asia? I haven't been on the search for a ration in a while but I would like to continue the hobby with something exotic compared to the standard North American or European ration.
By the way, nice review Steve!

Good luck and may your rations stay unspoiled!

Hey thanks guys! I really do love the Indonesian Rations. Well, except for the SP - the SP canned is unfortunate.
But the T2-PJ Freeze dried... that is the best Asian Military Ration ever made! And I am not putting this lightly!
Wanna get ahold of some for a reasonable price? stanleynatakusuma@gmail.com
I hope he doesn't mind me sharing his email here - he did ask me to share it on YT so I suppose he won't mind.
Contact him - he charges $11 for T2-PJ's - it was $9 but he raised his prices. Who knows, he might have raised them even more - things like that happen when demand sets in to the supply. No big deal - I would value a T2-PJ at $60 Ration-value. It's not worth any more than that - but certainly should never sell for less than $40 for what it is.. a flavor filled adventure! And running in at 3,500-4k calories and being freeze dried - I say it's really up there in desirable and exotic!
I bought like 12 T2-Pj's total. have eaten 2 off set, gave a few to friends and family to try - - plan to review 1 or two after I get a relaxed feel for them.

Okay, now I'm a little worried! Not really..but, are you just giving a lesser grade to the SPs because they are indeed canned, rather than stored in a retort pouch? Do you feel the can taints the flavor of the meal? I looked at some SPs and they look pretty fresh, with "best by" dates going into mid to late 2017. I have an order from Stanley sitting at JFK right now (I got some SPs and his last PJ..the PJ is what I'm really looking forward too. He's a real nice guy and is great with communication.steve1989 wrote:Hey thanks guys!
