Today I had the entree "pork stew w/ noodles" that comes with the
EPa type VI as introduced
here.

- goulash w/ noodles
Labled container
after removing the sleeve

- open container
this container can just be opened by pulling the cover
after nuking
This dish is a nice varity to the other 6 entrees and it´s very typical German. It´s not too hot or spicy, the only drawback is the noodles will get soaked after a too long storage. But this entrees are made to be eaten

I'm always amazed at how the noodles in the US pouches stand up to the test of time. Has your experience with these German dishes been that the noodles get soggy after a few years?

The EPa had only one noodle dish called "Italian style noodles dish".
That´s a 1999 one...
...I opened and eat 2008
After (just) 9 years the noodles were still great, not soggy.
I don´t know how this new noodles will make it after +9years as these entrees were made for the civilian market with a shelf live of (just) 2 years.
