MREs could definitely take a few lessons from that IMP bread!

i did not warm up the bread. i agree kman this is much better than mre bread. i dont mind the taste of the mre bread it is just the texture. the canadian bread is light and soft and just good.

Canadian bread comes in two different flavors IMO, good and chemical. I'm not sure what the cut off point is since my IMPs are sorta old now (2003-4 test dates), but every 3rd bread tastes good the rest are garbage. I got my cases for $50 a piece back when that was expensive. :) :)

Judging by the picture of the stew in the bowl  ......that sucker has a lot of meat in it! (mighty tasty looking too). :)
Everything tastes better with Tabasco

IMP meat is a little better than MRE meat IMO, it has grain to it, it's actual meat (sometimes) not just formed patties. IMPs pretty much are superior to MREs in my experience but the sides etc. suck, so it's a trade off. Plus the meals can be sorta weird flavors for Americans, but good to mix in.

i agree big mark the meal itself was excellent and the meat was great and plenty of it. the bread also was great. but then that was really about it. not a lot of other stuff to snack on. had some coconut pudding but it had to be prepared.
