Meal Kit Supply MRE's from MREmarketplace Super-Thread

Post by steve1989 » Mon May 16, 2016 2:54 am

Howdy, folks!

I got a case of Meal Kit Supply MRE's from http://www.mremarketplace.com - and these were the freshest MRE's I've ever had. MKS MRE's are the most premium civilian line MRE's money can buy.
First off, they came in the mail in less than 2 days of ordering them (40 hours or so!) - granted, I live in Florida, and that is where the company's shipping warehouse is located, so that may help a little. But I can imagine it would get to anyone in the U.S. within an incredibly fast period of time like it did for me.

Like mentioned, these were the absolute FRESHEST MRE's I've had in all the years of eating these things. I must say, it was a pleasure. You can tell these are stored in absolute utmost conditions - and are fresher than any MRE's you can find on Ebay.

I love the menu variation - there are 4 breakfast menus for starters. Yes, FOUR! Not only 1 breakfast menu like in government issued MRE's - yes, there are cases A & B - but in 24 menus, you still only get 2 breakfast menus. 2 cases of MKS meals and you have 8! Absolutely fantastic too - Hash Browns with Bacon - oooh man those are amazing.. and Maple Sausage Patty - I far prefer it over the Pork Sausage w/ Gravy. So you get two of each along with 8 other fresh, delicious menus including a couple vegetarian menus! Exceptional menu variation.

MKS MRE's from http://www.mremarketplace.com is the way to go for anyone who wants to have the ultimate in long-term food storage, camping/hiking meals, a couple for the car in case one is maybe stuck in some horrendous traffic jam, and of course - emergencies. With the extremely reliable and familiar Sure-Pak FRH heaters, these puppies can be heated in conditions that you couldn't build a fire in too. Trust me folks, I live in Florida - it rains a lot here. And I had one of these in the pouring rain during a camping trip back in March - and it was a real comfort having one in conditions I knew I couldn't have a hot meal over the fire.

Also, these MKS meals come with Trans Fat-Free sides & desserts! The Wheat Snack Bread, Pound Cakes, and Fudge Brownies are all Trans-Fat Free!! Gotta say, they taste just like they did before - moist.. even more moist if anything! Delicious!

Having MRE's this fresh and with such a terrific menu variation was an absolute pleasure - and I plan to buy a case or two for future camping trips.

This is my personal MRE of choice - the Meal Kit Supply MRE from http://www.mremarketplace.com

I am now going to provide photos - a nice look into what you will be getting with these.

Meal Kit Supply MRE's - continued

Okay, and now for the fun part!

This was menu 1 - gotta say those Au Gratin Potatoes were the best I've ever had. Nothing beats a fresh/perfectly stored MRE!!

Carrot Pound Cake was moist and truly a delicious treat.

Spaghetti was again.. so fresh! Ate every bit of this one.

Deep Rich brand coffee is like a cross between Taster's Choice and Coffee Instant Type 1! And lemme tell ya, this stuff is like a nutty medium roast - and actually is a great pick me up!

And now to menu 2 - - -

Fresh Chili w Beans - fried rice is a great pairing.. mix it all up & you're good to go. The Lemon Poppyseed Pound Cake was moist, sweet, and truly a wonder of pound cakes.. best part? Trans Fat-Free.

MKS Menu 3

A nice changeup - nothing wrong with a vegetarian menu. Some folks can't have meat - and this is a great answer. Again with the incredible Au Gratin side - and that Chocolate Chip Cookie maintained it's integrity - most the time I have one of those things they're broken up into a million little pieces!

Menu 5 was enjoyed on my last camping trip.

Beef Ravioli - a tried & true entree.

I was going to enjoy it while fishing off a little bridge - but ended up catching a huge string of fish.. ended up feasting on those - so this was left for a late evening MRE!

When I opened this one, I was so happy because it had a Chocolate Pudding in it!! Oh man that was so nice to have - I hiked to an unoccupied campsite approx 4 and a half miles from mine and this meal sure was a treat.

Tip: dip your MRE crackers into the blackbean side - it seriously makes the crackers taste like a tortilla chip - not exactly sure how that happened.. but it was delicious.

Another winner here!

And Menu 4 was buried in another folder of mine somehow - just located it - sorry for these being out of order now! Oh well.

MKS MRE - Menu 6 - Beef Taco

A couple ways to enjoy this one - and we try both the soft taco method, and on it's own.

This was one where I was curious to see of the tacos held together - those tortillas indeed held up - and were not messy to eat at all.

The Spiced Pound Cake is my personal favorite of the MRE Pound Cakes... moist, flavorful, and when I say flavorful it has dimensions of flavor that the others cannot quite match. Delicious!

This was another hit for me - excellent menu!

I have no idea where my Menu 7 Meatballs & Marinara Sauce menu went! My apologies, folks. I promise to review it as soon as I find it.
Pretty sure it's in a different folder - it was one I had in March on a rained out camping trip - a welcome addition to that specific scenario.

So - we jump to MKS MRE - Menu 8 - Vegetable Lasagna

This was the best Vegetable Lasagna MRE entree I've ever had. And the Fudge Brownie was also the best. This one was even more moist than one I had last year that was also Trans Fat-Free. It was moist! Like it was a freshly made brownie

It was too difficult managing to get a picture of the Zapplesauce - and the rest was just simple MRE fare we've all seen before - but this was another one I enjoyed camping - and it was terrific!

Another awesome MRE!
