Absence of "use by" dates on Mountain House pouches

Post by rationtin440 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 8:53 pm

Has anyone noticed that recently manufactured Mountain House entree pouches no longer have "use by" dates stamped on the pouch itself? I've eaten entrees that were 8 years old with no ill effect, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the absence of "use by" dates on the pouches.

yes..
I recently ate a MCW entree that was from the late 90's and it tasted fresh and good. These were made by Oregon Freeze, the company that make the MH.
