Bridgford's other offerings

Found this interesting, apparently besides the sandwich found in FSRs, they also make a whole slew of 1 year shelf stable products that are actually recognizable food.

This for example: Image

Throw that in a vaccum sealed bag with a bag of chips, drink powered base, condiments, MRE heater and you're good to go!

Very awesome. Any idea if they can be purchased individually or, do they come with the tray-meals (As shown with the Ready-to-eat meals under the tab)?
They may take our lives.... But they will never take,.. OUR NUTCAKE

Man... this Bev. Base tastes soapy.

I think you'll find that the hotlink that you had posted along with a number of the other products on that foodservice page are actually refrigerated/frozen sandwiches with a shelf life of about a month, rather than a shelf-stable item.

As for availability, I don't know if they have them in retail packages, but people in urban areas should be able to find these from vendors that cater to the foodservice and convenience store industry. Many of these places are open to the public but are usually cash & carry. Additionally, you'll find frozen/refrigerated sandwich products at the Costco Business Centers (but not always at regular Costco stores.)
