Scho-Ka-Kola Review

Post by Ration Fan » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:56 am

Hi!
I tried my first Scho-ka-kola!
This is a chocolate with caffeine, coffee and cola-nut extract.
In WW2 the Wehrmacht used it for their "Eiserne Ration"("iron ration").
The box is very retro and looks like it is from the 20th century! :D

I had two pieces of this and I enjoyed them! :)
I really like this chocolate but I didn´t eat too much because I want to sleep this night! :D
If you tried this too, what do you think about this chocolate?
Do you like it?

Greetings
Brian

It has 58 % cocoa.
Normally I don't like dark chocolate but this one is nice! :)

Its Good!

I recently got some also i like it too much. :D
Excellent chocolate flavor imbued with a bold yet smooth coffee flavor. Creamy texture that melts just slow enough not to matter in most climates.

4 pieces is a dose as far as i can tell which is plenty of caffeine

You will "crash" and crash hard if you depend only on this for energy as its mostly sugar
It does the job for a short boost until proper rest/food or if you eat a whole can over the course of a day for steady energy

The design is clever also the ridges help the piece not melt when you hold it.

Very good, high quality chocolate
