Not a ration, but UK food is very rare over here :shock:

Good choice with the steak pie and Cheddar Cheese!

For a real tradional meal, have the pie with mashed potatoes with peas. :D

If you want any more British food, just let me know :D I can send you some brown sauce if you want.

Looks good. Keep us posted. I do find it interesting the wording on the packaging. In the UK, those 'chips' would be referred to as 'crisps', chips being a more american term for the snack, also the Brits would call what we refer to fries, chips. Any Steak & Guinness pie, or spotted dick?

:D Thats looks good, just like food at home. I'm glad you enjoyed it, the second stage of your British transformation is complete! :lol: (first being fish and chips!) :wink:

You can get pies in cans :shock: Just take the lid off and cook in the oven. The old British tinned rations had a steak pie as one of the menus.

Pie and mash....british worker's food...yummmmmm
I ate it when I visited the UK back in 89'. I also like bangers and mash.... :wink:
To wash it down couple of pints of ale....Guinness,my favorite :P
