When it comes to emergency food rations, XMRE is one of the most well-known companies. They produce several individual Meal Ready to Eat options. Their Blue Line MRE is a field ration marketed towards government institutions, medical facilities, educational institutions, municipal entities, law enforcement, public service entities, and emergency preparedness programs. Additionally, they are available on the commercial market for civilian use. The Blue Line meal kit also happens to be slightly less expensive than XMRE's normal MRE offering because it contains slightly less food.
