These are similar to Hormel Completes
Similar to Hormel but by Betty Crocker. You can get these at Walgreen's 2 for $3.00. They look like lunch not dinner.

I don't think so
I haven't actually tried one, but they seem to be heat and eat.

CHILI N SPUDS
chili n spuds - kman already reviewed this one here is my take. not bad kind of bland could really use some hotsauce and salt. i ate all of these entrees as is. this was chili and potatoes no beans. what else can you say. almost impossible to screw that up. i would happily rotate it with my other rations but would not just eat it for pleasure.
next two will be sweet and sour chicken then turkey with hearty vegetables.

I tried a couple other Compleats but haven't had a chance to put the reviews up yet. I tried the Chicken Breast and Mashed Potatoes and the Chicken Breast (or was it Turkey?) with Stuffing.
In both cases, the Chicken and the potatoes/stuffing were just ok - kind of bland - nothing special. But the gravy was excellent and made both meals very good!

Hey guys. These are'nt made to fill you up. Just a quick lunch, sort of like K-rations during WWII. What was someone talking about needing to eat 2 of them? Nonsence. Thats not what they are made for. Here I go again. It's not what they like, or? It's that you can put 3 or 4 of them in your truck, without refrig. and when you need something to eat, Voila!. And thats all I have to say about that!

I've been eating these pretty often lately, my wife doesn't get that I'm trying to stockpile them so she keeps sending them in my lunch to work. So far they remind me a lot of MREs.. the meat isn't that great, but together everything works. Chicken and stuffing was the best I've had so far, which isn't saying too much. The beef ones so far have all pretty much tasted like Dinty Moore beef stew only less can flavor. I wish they'd include some sort of seasoning packet with these, that'd be great and easy, because I'd say that's what these need most, and a little seasoning would go a long way.
