Here's an old clip from Swanson. One thing about this commercial. You never actually took the contents out of the tray. And those cobbler deserts that was the only part you ever looked forward too - it came in cherry to. The corn was usually ok though. But the contents always stuck to the tray.

wow, you guys are picky! most of the hungry man dinners are nothing special, but i think they are much better than other brands. the sports grill beer battered chicken and potato wedges that MR.EMAN mentioned is my favorite, i usually eat 1-2 of those every week. try that one, there's not much to dislike about it.

also if you liked the taste of the burgers they served you in high school you'll like the angus beef charbroil XXL sandwich.i like these even better than the tray dinners, and eat 4-5 a week. they used to have a hoagie that tasted similar and came 2 in a box, but i haven't seen any on the shelves in a long time.

Not for nothin kman, but I remember eating those Hungry Man dinners back in the 1970's and from what I recollect...they look exactly the same now as they did back then...except they were in aluminum containers back then. What does that tell ya? You're better off running down to the corner Taco Bell and grabbing some of those 99 cent burritos...you're guaranteed a stomach churn, but at least you know it'll taste good.
