Along with the Mountain House Mini Just-In-Case that I documented, there was a box of additional "loose" items.
1 #10 Can of Pilot Bread Crackers
2 #2-1/2 cans of Potatoes & Beef
1 #2-1/2 can of Chili Mac
2 Boxes of Perfect Host Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce
6 Cases - each containing 6 #2-1/2 cans
1 Case of Freeze Dried Diced Pineapple
1 Case of Freeze Dried Chicken Stew
1 Case of Freeze Dried Chili & Beans
1 Case of Dehydrated Hash Brown Potatoes
2 Cases of Freeze Dried Vegetable Stew
Let's look at the Perfect Host Shrimp...
I didn't notice it until I was posting these pictures but Perfect Host is a trademark of Oregon Freeze Dry Foods. I had never heard of "Perfect Host" prior to this and a quick check of trademark information indicates that this was registered as a trademark in 1982.
So I decided to have a closer look at the packaging of the Perfect Host Shrimp.
The box slides open after one deals with some glue and scotch tape on the bottom of the paper package.
Inside is what appears to be a #2-1/2 can containing the shrimp.
"M" date code places it as being packaged in 1982.
Yuummm... 40+ year old shrimp. HA!
Some helpful recipe ideas.
I suggested to my bride that we should try this tonight as an appetizer. Decorum does not allow me to post her response.
One thing that I noticed (see picture of the back of the can with "directions") was that Oregon Freeze Dry Foods was a subsidiary of The Seven-Up Company. I was unaware of that.

Re: The rest of the story - Circa 1982 Mountain House Mini Just-In-Case
...the rest of the stuff is more Mountain House products from 1981 and 1982.
A #2-1/2 Can of Chili Mac and a couple of #2-1/2 Cans of Freeze Dried Potatoes & Beef. Note the "correction" pasted to the bottom of the cans of Potatoes & Beef. All of these are "L" date codes indicating being packaged in 1981.
The last of the "loose items" was a #10 Can of PIlot Bread Crackers.
