This brownie was very good, and very moist. Included an oxygen absorber in the

Wow, I am surprised that something this good is in an MRE, this was great. I think
the taste was better than normal Stove Top Cornbread stuffing, although the texture
was not as good. It looks like a brick coming out of the package but tastes
terrific especially mixed with the Beef Stew Gravy.

Also very good, I think this stew was better than Dinty Moore by a good margin, the
meat was tasty with good texture and the gravy was excellent.

This was the first time I have ever had the snack bread, it was not the typical
bread shaped thing that I have seen in videos, but square. Not bad at all, I only
used the jelly on it. Not a great item but fine and filling.

Never had the jelly before this, it was very good. Reminded me of McDonalds jelly
which is one of my favorites.

Beverage Base Raspberry drink mix

It listed no vitamin C content.
Didn't try this, maybe some other time.

Also included in the package were two pieces of hard candy (not in special
packaging), an accessory packet with a spork, napkin, wet wipe, and salt packet
inside and a field ration heater. I tried the lemon hard candy disk, it was good.

Comments specific to the EBM :

The drink mix packet was similar in shape and size to the normal Tasters Choice
coffee packets but in a plain brown package, the slit at the top made to assist in
opening was cut too long alowing the contents of the packet to leak inside the
outer bag. It didn't really cause a mess since there was no moisture inside, just
dry powder on some of the items inside the outer bag. I suspect that Emergency
Essentials is buying actual military MREs and repackaging them rather than buying
over runs or some other quantity of entres or sides directly from the manufacturer
due to the dates on the entre and side. The dates on the desert, snack bread, and
spreads were very close together and very new at the time I bought these, the entre
and side were much older and not from the same manufacturer. I believe all the
contents are either directly from an unpackaged military MRE, or from a
manufacturer of military MRE products and are of top quality. I have never seen
anything exactly like the drink mix included in this EBM elsewhere.
I bought these before finding out about armygear.net, if I didn't know about that I
would buy more of these.

If I ran their company I would add Tabasco and pepper to all of these. I did not use the FRH to heat the meal,
I put both the side and entre into a bowl and heated them in the microwave, and I sure am glad I did. The
gravy from the stew went really well with the stuffing, best meal I have eaten in quite a while. Not that it matters,
but I have now lost 180 lbs on my MRE inspired diet :)
