Quite well preserved K rations.

Post by Robin heum » Thu Feb 07, 2019 9:10 am

Hello there MREinfo.

I just got a hold of 4 K rations from somoene in Norway and i was really surprised at the condition they were in so i wanted to share them.
I got two Breakfast rations one Supper and one Dinner.

Im not going to open or eat anything that was unopened btw, i dont want to die yet. i did eat some sugar though.

Sorry for some pictures being wierd angles/upside down but i dont know how to fix that, should align if you click on them though.

The first one i opened i was amazed at the condition it was in, i didnt actually belive it was real at first.
All the items were in perfect shape and looken almost new.

The second Breakfast ration was in good condition but it had also been opened and was missing items. whoever opened it before my ruined the internal box.
It was missing the cigarettes, crackers, gum and cereal bar. The main can had small amounts of rust around the edges and a small speck on top.
Kinda wanted to eat the fruit bar though, sugar tasted fine.

The supper one was also opened before and was only missing the smokes.
And the main can had leaked a little but it is still in a good condition after i cleaned it. And some bugs has gotten into the accessory packet crackers.

Now the Dinner one is unopened and looks like its in good condition, although it makes a crunching sound when i put a little pressure on it and i rattles slightly.
i wont open it or at least not yet. and im out of picture space so i cant add any pictures of it unfortunatly.

I apologise for the low quality of the photos but i dont have actuall camera so i used my phone.

You have to rotate the picture at your phone before you post them

Only the previews are rotated, once you click them, they show up right.
