Opened up a Food Packet, Survival, General Purpose from November 1966 today, definitely was an incredible experience!!
The contents were:
Coffee, Instant
Sugar ( I dont drink coffee, so didnt try these. Sorry folks!)
Chocolate Fudge Bar (Smelled completely sour, this was a no go.)
Corn Flake Bar Type I and II (Type 1 must've had dry milk, it smelled REALLY sour. Type 2 smelled so old and stale, not even worth the risk)
Chicken flavored Food Bar (Smelled slighty strange, wasnt worth trying IMO.)
Soup and Gravy Base, Chicken Flavored (Completley caked up and turned dark brown. Smelled alright, but once again, just doesnt feel worth the risk.)
Everything smelled awful, there was not a chance of testing any of it. All of it smelled sour at worse, or super strange at best. Still great to document it though!
