How many of them have you seen until now? What was the newest ration you have seen? I've seen 2013. this kind of boxed ration. Maybe there was newer productions, but that's something I didn't see here or on other parts of internet.

So this is 2018. ration, that's written with what a - marker?

Compared to other rations I've seen around with stamped date code like this one here


Also, few years back I got a "pilot's ration" from US pilots flying in and out of Croatia. Saying it's their actual survival ration. Difference is visible.




So I'm just asking this is a MRE forum, something where people should share informations and knowledge. Something missing here for a long time now. So who knows stuff to share a bit knowledge about this kind of survival rations?

These are super fresh (bar date is 8153 ..produced in May 2018)....the bars were specially produced for me extra during new govt order production.(every 2 years) I also ordered some new boxes, the boxes were made for me also (The rest of them are being packed in a few months for the military order that was placed.).. They rushed the boxes so they could get them out in time to ship with my cornflake bars..They hand marked a few of the boxes so I know what the date was.. As this was done for me as a favor for personal use. I actually already ordered a stamp to make them official. Yes the last batch i have seen was 2013 also... I worked on this for over a year to make it happen. Only time you will ever see these before they are even made for govt, haha..let alone years later when they pop up. I got the first set of boxes made with these dates...

Thanks for that Drew. I was wondering what the situation might be as it was indicated prior that you have been working on this project for years but I did not want to pry and directly ask what that meant. That's pretty awesome.

Or just a shorter question, what is the issued survival ration (today) the boxed one or the foil bag one (or both) and is there any evidence available somewhere? I got my rations in late 2016. made in 2013 with 5 years shelf life.

I already explained, I got these from the manufactuer direct... there is no debate about real or not..the military just ordered their new batch...and same time extra was made for me... these were just produced and packed in the last 2 months.. of course uou havent seen any new ones because I am the first one to get these new batches... I said I would put the stamp on with the date to make it "official" since u said it was missing..lol... Not sure the difference, maybe they were out of supply of the reg. Items, and had the one you show made?.. Not sure... Just know I got mine direct from source, and they were just made...

The "some guy" that Drew spoke to was someone from the manufacturer, who I would assume would know what they are talking about.
I have never heard of reproduction or fake FPSGP's, and I can assure you that the cornflake bars were made only a couple months ago.
