Post by housil » Wed Aug 02, 2017 2:30 pm

Actually we had planned at that bunker event, to have a Egg mix, butter flavored, freeze dried. Here is the delayed review of my friend did.

Cook it in a frying pan, it started to clock after 4min

After 7 min of cooking, done:

Scrambled eggs
Taste was a little "sweet".

Thank you to "Uwe" to allow me to use his pictures.

I have several bags of those. I added peppers, onions and ham to the last batch and that really made them better. There is an FRH for those bags but I don't have any of those.....yet. I liked them better than the German eggs with chives.

housil - Thank you for sharing.

Questions: 1 - Are these hard to find? 2. Expensive? If I find one, would add crab meat, shrimp, mushrooms, onions, cheddar cheese and seasoning!... along with some Texas toast and a few adult beverages!

housil - Which makes sense since the picture appears to show a small portion cooked. Which brings me to a question (I know I know I'm always asking you questions  ): Assume you saved what you didn't cook for a later date?... a seller on eBay told me you had use it all or it goes bad... is she crazy in the cabeza?

I've never seen the 25 serving bags before. The ones that I survey in the UGR-B and H&S, are 18 servings and there are 3 Boil-in-Bag in each mylar pouch. I find the if you can rehydrate over night the quality is much better.
