Penne w/sausage crumbles in sauce TOTM

Yup, I went fishing again and so had another TOTM en kayak. This time, I forgot to eat breakfast and was ravenous by the time I'd been on the water an hour. Naturally, this TOTM had the fewest contents of any such meal yet. Figures, huh? Had the bag of Skittles that came in this meal and mixed up the lemon-lime drink. I had never had Skittles. Can't see what the fuss is about, frankly.

The entree itself was quite bland without any additions. It only took me one bite to add the supplied Tabasco. That made it better. The tomato sauce wasn't as good as that in the meatball marinara entree I had a few days ago, and there was no real sausage flavor even though the "crumbles" were plentiful. The pasta was fine, neither mushy nor underdone. I'd give this one a five on a scale of 10. Not bad, but not something to look forward to again sometime.

I also ate the crackers and peanut butter. Why oh WHY do I never get cheese? Never anything but peanut butter. Sigh...
