The "Bean Salad" makes me crazy , it looks sooo delicious. I´m a fan of all US ration bean entrees, oh, how I miss the vintage MRE "Beans with Tomato Sauce" !
I´m curious for the "Rice with Beans" review !

I think the Rice & Beans from early HDR's have a completely different recipe than the 2003 and later Red Beans & Rice. This entree was not sweet tasting, and was dry. The spice was at a minimal and was pretty bland, even with added seasoning. Fully edible - but only enjoyable if you were truly hungry.
