Greetings gentlemen, been a while since my last post. Broke the camper out and went camping at a friend's house, with the family this past weekend. Stormy conditions dictated driving my wife and daughter into town though, in response to their many protests to the less than stellar weather. This ended up being very fortunate for me though. We walked into a "Picker's Paradise" store in Bethel, OH. I stumbled upon what I think are some pretty rare finds. Enough words though, check out the pics of my score!
Four rations, all from 1956 / 57! Best of all, these are still unopened, in the tin, with no signs of bulging! I couldn't believe I found both parts of the survival rats from 56!
I've been scouring the web, and found a pic of the contents from the 1956 Part 1 survival ration (see below). Any clue what Part 2 of 2 would contain?!
The Food Packet, Survival SA-6 and Food Packet, Survival,Arctic SA-6 list the contents, but I'd LOVE it if someone could provide a picture of the contents. I really don't want to open these, but I'm afraid my curiosity may override common sense! Can any one help?
Thanks,
Jason
New additions to my collection from 1956 / 1957!
