UGR Spaghetti/Meatballs

Post by DangerousDave » Sun Feb 22, 2009 5:02 pm

Enclosed some pics of this one. Pic. 2 upon opening cold. Pic.3 after nuking a portion. Spaghetti taste about same as MRE. Meatballs very good. Should have bought some Italian bread to make meatball samiches. I think this was packed 2004. I can't decipher the numbers on the polymer tray, but it says 634-04 0818 P100 RQB EST.19076 29AA Serves 9 Portions. Overall, excellent. I ate the whole thing! Nah, just kidding :P

The tray rations do seem to stray from the date codes in the individual meals. Here is a pic of a corned beef hash tray ration I have:

I bought this last year from LLFdepot, so I'm inclined to think the 4 digits before the RQB is the actual date. If not then methinks LLF is clearing out old stock and would explain the sale price on these.
