Hi guys,

today two more A-Pack variants :D :

The first one is a tan Acce-Pack "B" packed by AMERIQUAL PACKAGING dated 1998, in a former post in that topic you can see a similar A-Pack "B" packed by SOPAKCO PACKAGING, dated 2001. It is interesting that all tan ones are “B”, all others "A, ..." during that time were already wrapped in transparent plastic foil :!: .

The second one is also an A-pack "B" dated 1995 packed by CINPAC, INC..

Another one with same date code and packer as before, but here the seam is angular and did not close the whole pouch :!:

MREHeater72,

I have a few dark brown Accessory packets myself. Two of which will stir a mystery.

1) Accessory Packet B, made by SO-PACK-CO. Source date 2129 and also a separate "A" under the manufacturer's address.

2) Accessory Packet B, CINPAC, INC. Source Code? 3025B2. Also no listing of contents.

3) Unknown Accessory packet, only one code 102412 A. No listing of any information or contents.

4) Unknown Accessory packet, only one code 208411 B 2. No listing of any contents or information like first one.

All seem to have been heat sealed except for the last one which has a serrated notched opening

Hi guys,

I have a new Accessory Packet in my collection :D ! It is opened, some parts are missing and some of the remaining items are in poor condition :( . I do not know the exact age, but it appears that it comes out of an early RATION, COMBAT, INDIVIDUAL (C-Rat). I achieved it with some other ration items dated 1948, so I guess it has the same age! It seems that it is the oldest A-Pack in my collection :D .

Here some photos:

Front side of the opened, empty Accessory Packet (Kraft paper): The contents and the packer is not stated

Hi guys,

I have one new MRE-"A-Pack" in my collection :D :

Accessory Packet A, RAFCO FREEZE DRY, INC.

Same as before but back side

Here is a close-up of the date code: "0 251 11". I "translate" that so: "0" for "1990" and "251" for "September 8". "11" has no meaning in regard with the date.

Weird MRE Accessory Packet DoP 9306 (December 2009

Post by mreheater72 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 6:18 pm

Hi guys,

a few days ago I got some weird MRE (?) Accesorry Packet “A” with DoP 9306 (December 2009). It is still closed, the contents are:

Matches
Chewing Gum
Toilet Paper
Moist Towelette
Coffee
Creamer
Sugar
Salt
STEAK SAUCE ( :?: :?: :?: ) ( :!: :!: :!: )

See the pics:

I got it loose, no idea to which ration it belongs (without much doubt out of a MRE). Never had seen before such a sauce in A-Pack  , did you?

BTW, sorry norge, can you please "update" your "Photobucket" photos, so that all your "Acce-pics" in that topic (and also in other ones) appear again :) !

I know this is an awful thing to ask, but I am going to either open this and post the photos on here, or sell it on Ebay.

What should I do? It's up to you guys!
