This is a U.S. First Strike Ration from 2019. The FSR is the American 24-hour military ration. These rations are meant to be issued to soldiers in the early stages of an assault in place of standard Meals Ready To Eat. They were designed for maximum ease of consumption and weight savings. The FSR provides all the nutrition required by a soldier over the course of a full day, replacing three MRE's. The food itself isn't as good as a regular MRE in my opinion but these rations are fantastic for what they were designed for, quick, easy, on-the-go combat food.
