As far other cig's, for K's and stuff before the MCI. I've got enough WW2 samples as well as complete issued packs (10 in 1), still in the VCI paper outer wrapper. I think I'm good for US cigarettes now.

Although I've recently discovered the WW2 Japanese Cigarette collecting culture....

If I ever see Fleetwoods again, they turn up in old K rats as well, I'll likely keep em sealed. Don't like smokin K rat cigs, they're usually a mess. Good score on those 10 in 1 packs.

Just realized this thread is for MCI acc packet smokes, not the older or prototypes per say. Perhaps MCI acc pack had the Viceroy's at some point? The 1961 Meal Quick Serve had em. Man that was a cool ration.

Raleigh also turned up in K rats. I have a 1942 pack that is white and that same k rat has sugar cube wrappers that advertise an old hotel. Or maybe a bar? Been a few years since I've looked at it. That same k rat has moisture still in the main. A corned pork loaf.. super bloated though. Gonna need to wear gloves with that one.

the raleigh white pack with the vertical logo is the only K rat cigs that i'm missing

Stop shopping at Ikea... between us, scale model collectors, action figure collectors, comic figure fanboys... no wonder you can't find a Detolf from the Atlantic to Pacific.

I found the Ikea in Shamburg Ill had Detolf's in stock, I had a business trip to Chicago coming up, I drove so I could come back with some Detolfs... Did I mention I live just outside of Gettysburg PA

this page popped up in my search for wwii 5 packs. evidently they only came in the mountain, jungle and 5 in 1 rations.

my pack is old golds but there's a fleetwood for sale on 1944supply, well outside of what i'm comfortable paying though

can't believe ikea killed off the detolf...

ETA: if you've got empty shelf space i've found that rimless fish aquariums are quite nice and cheap for displays. put some foam around the edges, put it upside down over your stuff and voila, perfectly sealed and displayed
