Hi everyone. Here is my first reviewed US-MRE. It is MRE 2016 Menu 11 from Ameriqual Company. Vegetable Crumbles with Pasta in Taco Style Sauce. It might have been reviewed by some other guys here. But it's always good to have different opinions. I had some MRE's before but did no review on them. Must say that there are some MRE's i like so far and that tasted really good. And there are some that were not my kind of taste. This one is one of the first category.

So let's stard. Here is the MRE bag.

and this is the content. We have..

-a pouch of French Vanilla Cappuccino Instant Powder
-FRH with Cardbord
-Beverage Base Lemon Flavor

My conclusion on this menu. It tasted really good. The main entree was very good and flavorfull. It had some pasta, slices of tomatos, black beans and some vegetarian meat chuncks. I didn't use the hot sauce, because it was tasty enough for me. The crackers were also very good. I ate one with that chuncky peanut butter. Although i'm not a fan of peanut butter at all i tried it. It didn't kill me. I'm still alive. The lemon drink was very good. Not to sweet, tasted like real good lemonade.
The French Vanilla Cappuccino was so sweet, the taste was covered by to much sugar. It was hardcore. The sweetness hits me right in the face. It was not that kind of cappuccino i know.
The Cashews had a light taste of jalapeno and salt. Thumbs up for them. Next was to eat was the First Strike bar. As i expected it was sticky and it had a nice and flavorfull taste of Apple and Cinnamon. Also thumbs up. The taste and smell reminds me a little of Christmas time. Near to the smell of gingerbread. Yummy.
Last but not least i tried the desert. The Mango-Peach- Appelsauce. Very good desert.
All in all i can recommend the menu. This will not be the last time i eat this menu. Thumbs up for it.

I like this menu too. When I first saw the vegetarian menus when I first bought a case, I was rather disappointed (sorry Ben). But I have to admit, after trying them, I was very impressed. Now, when I see loose MREs for sale somewhere, I find myself picking these out to buy. Also love the sugerfree small drink packs, very similar to crystal light if not even better.

Good review! The TVP is very good imo and I can't tell the difference between that and real ground meat. I should try cooking with it sometime.

Probably my second favorite after the pork patty. :D
