2015 MCW Beef Strogonoff

Post by mickeyjoe » Tue Mar 20, 2018 9:44 am

This is my second attempt at s freeze dried MCW...I did the scrambled eggs with bacon pieces and I don't know if I didn't stir it enough or added too much water but the eggs were not very good, so I was a little hesitant with this one, but it turned out great! This ration only came with a main, some drinks, a fig bars and a peanut butter dessert bar (which I had never seen before, and was surprisingly good), which I thought was odd until I poured the main onto my tray...it was by far the largest main I've had in a ration. It was a little on the bland side, but the Tabasco sure helped!

There is a serious amount of food in some of the MCW and LRP rations. The beef stew, chicken and rice and the stroganoff seem to always make the most.
Yeah the stroganoff is quite plain but the tabasco does the job if you want a bit of a kick to it
